Enrolment Criteria
In enrolling students, we seek to offer a place to those who are most likely to benefit from and contribute to the life of the College. Offers of enrolment are made taking into account:
- The student’s willingness to explore the teachings of the Bible and study about Jesus Christ
- School reports, test results, learning needs and aptitude
- Skills and involvement in non-academic pursuits
- Sibling currently attending or previously attended the College
- Place of residence
- Date of application
No single criteria is a determining factor. As parents are free to choose the school they believe is the best for their child, so the College will select families most likely to be well served by the education it is offering. Decisions taken are the responsibility of the Principal, Enrolments team and the College Council and no discussion of these decisions will be entered into.
Submit an Application
Submit an application as soon as possible for your child to be included on the waiting list. All supporting documents and the $100 application fee is required at this time. The application will be acknowledged by email and the application fee will be receipted.
Submit application with ALL supporting documentation:
- Birth certificate
- Passport/Visa
- Immunisation certificates
- Most recent school reports (where applicable)
- Most recent NAPLAN results (where applicable)
- Legal documents relating to special family arrangements i.e. family court orders, AVOs
- Specialist reports relating to learning needs
Waiting list
Your child’s application will remain on the waiting list and you will be contacted by our Enrolments Team should a vacancy occur. Please contact the College if any of your details change during this time.
Contact and Consultation
To find out if you are still interested in a place we will contact you to ask you to meet with our Principal. We will then consult with current and/or previous schools, teachers and referees, as applicable. Assessment may be conducted during this time. After your interview, your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted via email if your application has been successful.
Placement Offer
Placement offers from the Principal will be emailed to successful applicants. Positions must be confirmed by parents with the return of the Letter of Offer and payment of the non-refundable Enrolment Bond. This must be returned within two weeks.
Application Costs
Application Lodgement Fee
$100 is due when an application is lodged. This cost is non-refundable.
Enrolment Bond
An enrolment bond per child is payable when returning your completed Letter of Offer. This will be held by the College until your child completes Year 12 or de-registers and provides one full terms (10 weeks) notice of departure.

Note:
- The enrolment bond is payable on acceptance of placement offer
- Reports/certificates must accompany the application
- Parents wishing to enrol their children at Wahroonga Adventist School must be prepared to support the ethos, policies, rules and discipline of the College.
